Saturday 22nd April - The Old Aberlady Inn, Aberlady
What a night, it started out a bit quiet (another venue had a race night) but I have to say that the handful of customers that were present for my first set made up for their lack in numbers with their enthusiasm. I do wish that Fifers would take note that the more appreciation that is shown, the more you get from the act. I was not at my best, following my chest infection that the doctor puts down to smoking withdrawal symptoms (not bad for a non smoker), but was pushed into as good a performance as I could muster by some of the loudest clapping cheering and backing vocals I have received anywhere. Thank you to the customers of the Old Aberlady Inn. A lovely venue, good staff and customers.
