Sunday 11th November 2012 - The Cross Keys,
Stirling
This was my first visit to The Cross Keys, and I must say I liked it!
It's a lovely wee pub in the heart of Stirling, with a friendly
atmosphere and some good banter.
I was greeted warmly by Madison and Mary, and made to feel right at
home before I'd even sung a note! That's so rare these days.
There's a small bar area downstairs, and a set of stairs which leads
you up to a musician's dream stage! it's a wee room, with not a
lot of seating, but the stage area is lovely. I can well imagine
an acoustic night or open mic night going on at some point, cos it's
just perfect for that.
I'll be bringing my Adele tribute "Joanie sings...Adele" to the Cross
Keys in December, and I'm looking forward to seeing our set up in that
location. I think it's gonna look spectacular!
I must just say a big HIYA to Willie, who is the resident dancer.
He was rarely off the dance floor, and I was tired just watching him!
Cheers bud!
